SpeaKABOOM Gavel Club mission:
We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.
What is it?
A Gavel club is a sanctioned nonprofit under the umbrella of Toastmasters International. Gavel clubs use educational materials and meeting agendas similar to those used by Toastmaster clubs.
Gavel clubs are led by seven officers. Members are called Gaveliers. Members are provided opportunity to give speeches, take on meeting roles, and run an entire meeting on their own. Gavel clubs provide an excellent opportunity for members to participate in community service.
